Zipbrander Review
This is a slick new software program created by Russell Brunson.
This program enables you to add a splash screen to any file that
people download from your site.
You might have lots of files that people can download from your
website. Using Zipbrander, you can add any advertising message
to the file(s) people download.
My favorite feature of this software is that when you open up
a file branded with Zipbrander, you can specify a webpage to automatically
pop up.
You get to display a full webpage to anyone who opens up your
file. This is a great tool which makes me wonder why I never thought
of the idea.
The resulting file sizes for the branded files vary from file
to file. For some files you will get a 1/3 increase in file size
and for some such as the video tutorial below, I got a 5% decrease
in file size.
I don't see this as a big problem though since that is not a
huge increase in size and the benefits of including any advertising
far outweighs this slight blemish.
Zipbrander is very easy to use. Once you brand a few files with
it, you'll want to use it on every file you give away.
I've created a video tutorial on how to get the most out of the
software. Basically, if you want to provide the least hassle for
your visitors, you should use the "hard brand" feature
which compiles the software into one piece.
This way the user doesn't have to unzip a file and then extract
another file from the unzipped file. Please be aware that Zipbrander
turns your file into an EXE format which will not work on Macs
so if you're selling an ebook, make sure to give your customers
a .pdf version also.

Tip: When I brand a file with this tool I set it so that when
the user unzips a file, a page will pop up displaying an affiliate
product that is complimentary to the file they are downloading.

the byline of my article for people to download the rules for
