This
book created a lot of buzz in the Summer of 2003. One
of it's biggest selling points is that it can teach you
how to make money even if you don't have a website.
I
hesitated on buying this ebook at first even though it
had rave reviews from lots of people. I finally bought
it about 2 months ago and put it to use.
This
ebook is one of the first ebooks written about the subject
of using Google's Adwords program to generate affiliate
commissions. Therefore, it is suited more for someone
who has never used Adwords before because it gives a very
good introduction.
I
want to make it clear after buying the ebook that it is
not an easy way to make quick money. It still requires
a lot of testing, planning and tracking to choose good
profitable keywords.
When
I bought the ebook Chris offered a 2 hour audio session
between Jonathan Mizel and Perry Marschall. The session
gave me very useful tips for creating profitable Adwords
campaigns. Now that bonus is not available anymore and
since the ebook is mainly geared towards beginners I cannot
recommend the ebook without the bonuses.
Lots
of people say good things about the ebook and while Chris
does give good thorough examples, he's lacking on some
of the more advanced techniques that will really make
a difference on your success with Adwords.
If
you do decide to buy Googlecash, make sure you first read
the information and tips that google provides on their
site about the program. Google does a very good job explaining
everything.
The
secret to making money with Adwords is to do some research
on profitable keywords before you set up a campaign. When
you start out, you shouldn't bid on keywords that cost
more than the minimum of .05 per click.
You're going to lose money no matter what unless you find
a very good keyword which attracts many buyers. If you
bid a low amount like 5 cents and set your daily budget
to 5.00 that means you'll get 100 clicks a day. You can
find your conversion rate with 100 visitors. If you get
100 visitors and no one buys you have lost only $5 but
if you get one person out of 100 who buys and you earn
$10 commission then you have earned a profit of $10. Just
up your daily budget and you'll earn a lot more.
To find those high traffic keywords that you can bid
for 5 cents you will need to do a lot of research. To
speed up my process for finding those keywords I use a
tool called Adword Analyser which is reviewed here.
