" Your List and Its Many Faces "
What kind of list do you have?
If you're an internet marketer, do you have an internet
marketing list? Nope You have to get more specific.
If you have only one list, you're cutting your potential
short. You have to have many lists with different types of
prospects.
You won't get a high click through rate promoting a search
engine optimization product to a list full of resell rights
marketer's and vice versa.
If you build a large list from all over the place you will
not get high click through rates. Your list members won't
even bother to read your informative articles if they're
not interested in the topic.
Many top marketers have different lists. They have a list
of customers, a list of affiliates, a list of people who
subscribed to their ecourse about increasing conversion
rates.
I have a list of people who requested my ebook "Rebrand
Profits" so I only send them information that will help
them promote my ebook and helps them make money with the
ebook. Nothing else.
It's better to have many smaller lists that are more
targeted than one big list that's untargetted. It saves you
many hassles such as spam complaints and undeliverable
emails.
If you have small lists, you don't necessarily have to send
an email out to each list once a week or more. Of course
you can set up all the messages in an autoresponder first
and then start promoting the list. Your autoresponder
messages should be informative, related to a specific topic
and promote affiliate programs that are related to your
list.
Once you've set up your autoresponder, it's an automatic
promoting machine. Just get people to sign up to the
autoresponder. Don't promote anything related to the topic
in the autoresponder, even after the autoresponder series
ends. You can build up many different high responding lists
using this method.
